Not launching on 23rd February 2022

 

Unfortunately there is a bug in the software that relates to the current date (23/02/2022), the software will not open when the date is set like this.

It is only a problem with this one specific date so the only workaround for now is to change the date on your machine for just today.

 

You can do this by clicking on the windows Start Button.

Then type control panel to start a search.

Select the Control Panel App:

 

 

 

In the control panel, open the Date and Time icon:

 

 

 

Click the Change Date and Time button:

 

 

 

 

Select a date other than the 23rd of February and click OK:

 

 

 

Evolution should now work okay and you can change the date back to the correct date tomorrow, or today providing you keep Evolution open after changing the date, as it will have the same problem again if you close and re-open it and the date is set back to 23rd of February again.
