Print job sent to incorrect printer

Print job sent to incorrect printer

If you have set your printer correctly in the Printer / Fonts setup, but the job goes to the incorrect printer, it may be that your Windows 10 settings are set to maintain the default printer.

To correct this, follow the steps below.

  • Click your Windows 'Start Menu' and go to the 'Settings'.

  • Select 'Devices'.

  • Make sure in the 'Printers & Scanners' area, that Windows is not set to manage your default printer.

Now that Windows is not managing your default printer, Pastel Partner / Xpress should go to the correct printer when you start a new print job.
